I offer occupational therapist services in east Markham and Stouffville for clients aged 0-12. I use a client-centred and parent partnership approach to help your child develop skills and reach their goals. I am looking forward to connecting with you and learn more about you and your child.
Welcome
Anna Reeves is a licensed Occupational Therapist with 20 years of experience in the field. Anna is a child-directed and family-oriented therapist. She loves to incorporate children’s play ideas in therapy and places great value on parent-child relationship and is a strong advocate for parents playing central role in their child’s development.
Anna has experience working in tertiary children’s hospitals, schools, orphanages, NGO’s, and companies all over the world. Anna has worked extensively with children with a wide range of diagnoses including Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, ADHD, learning disabilities, fine motor delay, sensory processing difficulties as well as emotional regulation difficulties.
Anna has training in the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, Handwriting Without Tears, Zones of Regulation, DIRFloortime 101, SCERTS, Astronaut Training, and Therapeutic Listening. She also recently obtained her Level 1 of Oral Placement Therapy and her Level 1 of Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training.
Anna is registered with the College of Occupational Therapy in Ontario (COTO) and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).

Services
Assessment
The assessment process includes a combination of standardized assessments, clinical observations and parent interview. This will allow us to tailor a personalized Occupational Therapy plan for your child. A full assessment report can also be provided at an additional cost. This report may be shared with your child’s school team or healthcare team.
In-Home Therapy Intervention
Unique child-based interventions are designed to help your child address possible underlying sensory integration, retained reflexes, physical and cognitive concerns as well as challenges involving hand-writing, ocular motor control, and emotional regulation. Anna will be primarily using The Pyramid of Learning Approach in her sessions. Parents are expected to join in for all sessions to allow open communication and carry-out of planned activities outside of therapy times.
Progress and Empowerment
Anna consistently provides regular reassessment and adjustments made to ensure your child’s ongoing progress. Please note that one therapy session a week does not manifest to lasting change. Parent empowerment and education underpins long term progress of your child’s development. Anna is committed to help foster empowerment by partnering and encouraging your child and your family in achieving your goals and live life to its fullest potential with newfound confidence and capability.
